4&20 Blackbirds won't be playing in January and part of February due to an unfortunate ice skating accident which resulted in Karen breaking her arm. Hopefully she'll recover quickly and we'll be back out there in late February or March. Please contact Stacy if you want to book anything after March 1.
This will be our first time at the Columbia City Theater Bourbon Bar. We hope to see all our South Seattle, Tacoma-ish friends at this show. We'll be sharing the night with two other acts. Not sure who yet, but I'll update this when I do know.
You might expect a Winery show to be a bit on the mellow side. But out last show at Matthews Winery in Woodinville was a real party. Apparently people in Woodinville love love love to dance. So come out and join us this time for a little pre-holiday cheer. The Eastsiders will be playing on Dec 22nd from 6:30 to 9:30. We hope to see you there.
This coming Sunday, 4&20 Blackbirds will be playing at set at the launch party for a KBFG 107.3 at Peddler Brewing Company in Ballard. We are so excited to be part of this event! Come down and join the fun in person or dial in to listen to the live broadcast. Jim Marcotte will be joining us for this set -- so happy to have the chance to play with him again. We go on at 2pm. The party goes all afternoon.
We are so excited to be invited back to Match Coffee and Wine in Duvall. This is a great place to sit back and relax with friends. Have some great food and wine and enjoy that music. Karen and Tad will be there with me and who knows, maybe we'll have another special guest as well.
Liars & Tigers is a new project with my good friend Jakob Singer. We'll be playing a set of songs that we've written individually and collectively. This should be a fun show. And if you haven't been to Match, you're in for a treat. Great wine and food in a lovely intimate setting. Hope to see you there.
We are so excited to be playing on the Fountain Lawn Stage at Folklife this year. We'll have a whole band for this show. Karen and I will be joined by Tad Buhman on mandolin, Ryan Hendrickson on percussion and Jakob Singer on lead guitar and vocals. We're playing Friday at lunch time...12:30 to 1:00. Grab some food and kick off your weekend early.
We'll be playing an early show for our friend Piper's birthday party at the 192 Brewery on April 30th. It's an open party so come on out and join us.
The Bellevue Brewery has the best nachos! This place was our go-to post-rehearsal pub for the Roadside Goat Show. Went there practically every week for over a year. So I'm really excited to invite you all to see 4&20 Blackbirds play there on Friday Feb. 24th. I know, I know, this is Wintergrass weekend and you can bet I'll be headed over to the bluegrass festival right after. So come join us for this show. Have a beer and some nachos and prefunction for Wintergrass.
Looking for small ways to make a difference in this crazy world? Come to the Blue Moon Tavern on the 12th for a fundraiser benefitting Planned Parenthood. An easy and fun way to show your support for causes that are making a difference in people's lives. I'll be sharing the stage with Maya Marie from The Black Chevys and Wynne C. Blue from Wynne C. Blue and the Troublefakers. The event starts at 7. We play at around 8:30.
My first attempt to play at Match was thwarted by the big October storm that didn't happen. We've rescheduled this event for January 7th. Match is a very cool intimate wine bar with great food and a cozy atmosphere. I can't wait to play here. And it's in my hometown. So come out all you Duvall friends and join us for this show. I'll be joined by Karen on guitar and harmony with special guest Tad Buhman on mandolin.
We'll be back at Hattie's Hat on October 17th, sharing the evening with Jim Marcotte. All you Ballard people, come on out. Hattie's Hat backroom is a great place to hang out, have some food and drinks and listen to music. Kinda like a private living room concert. See you there.
Come on out all you fellow Snoqualmie Valley folks. I am playing a hometown show at Match Coffee and Wine on October 15th. This is our first show at Match and we are really looking forward to it. Enjoy some fine wine, sweet music and good friends.
We're providing some ceremony and dinner music for a wedding in October. I love singing at weddings. I'm a hopeless romantic. Feel free to contact me if you're looking for wedding music. I sing with musicians in a variety of styles and can help you with anything from ceremony music to reception bands.
I'll be joining The Backdoor Trio for a set of my original songs at the Hattie's Hat Singer Songwriter Showcase on Sunday July 31st. There will be 2 other songwriters on the bill and I'm really looking forward to meeting them and sharing a wonderful night of music. The Hattie's Hat backroom is a cool intimate setting...kinda like having us all us play for you in your living room.
I'm really excited to be opening for Jim Marcotte and the Breakthrough on July 22nd at the Black Dog Cafe in Snoqualmie. Jim's band is awesome and I hope to talk him into joining us on lead guitar on a few of our songs as well. I'll have a full band there for this gig. Come out and join us.
I'll be joining my friends Jakob Singer, Judd Wasserman and Jeremy Stewart at Fado on Friday June 24th. If you haven't been there, it's a great Irish pub in downtown Seattle. Come on out for a pint of Guinness and some fun music. I'm thinking about changing my name for this show...Jakob, Judd, Jeremy and Stacy doesn't work. How about Jezebel??
Roadside Goat Show will be playing a fun set of original and standard Bluegrass/Americana tunes at a private party at Silver Lake. Sorry, I can't invite you all to join us, but if you're planning a party and looking for a casual fun band...let me know.
We're back at the Horseshoe Saloon in Woodinville on May 28th. Joining me for my set will be Jim Marcotte from Jim Marcotte and the Breakthrouh, Dave Pollon a The Northern Light and Tad Buhman Roadside Goat Show. We will be collaborating on a set of original and cover tunes. The Pine Hearts are opening the show. I saw them at Wintergrass this year and loved them. This is a fun place to spend an evening. I've been told they serve a killer BLT.
We've been invited to be the featured artist at the Songwriter's Showcase at Tim's Tavern on May 25th. Tobias the Owl is the host and will open the evening. I'll be joined on my set by my good friend Karen Hovde and we'll be followed by open mic format performances by various local performers. Come on out and join us for a fun evening of music.
