Sing a song of sixpence pocketful of rye
Four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie
When the pie was open, the birds began to sing
Wasn't that a dainty dish to set before a king?
Stacy Powell writes and performs with an ever-changing collection of her talented friends as 4&20 Blackbirds -- serving up savory harmonies in the form original tunes as well as alt-folk, rock and country classics. Stacy has had a lifelong love of music. Although her career has taken her in a different direction, she has continued this love affair through writing and performing. She is currently writing and recording her second album and is looking for collaborators who share her vision for Americana/gypsy jazz/punk rock band.
The current band lineup includes her long-time friend and musical collaborator, Karen Hovde, on rhythm guitar and vocals, Tad Buhman on mandolin, Jim Marcotte on lead guitar and Bill Roman on bass. We’ll be adding a drummer soon!
